The place was stunningly beautiful, the historic house had a pool at the back, the rooms were cool and tastefully decorated, and the hosts were exceptionally kind and helpful. They offered bikes to borrow, and it was great to be close to Avignon yet surrounded by greenery. A short walk brought us to a free boat that takes you across the river to a nice starting point for exploring the beautiful city. We borrowed bikes and rode to a nearby restaurant overlooking old Avignon. We’d love to come back!

Toplokatie! Ptecies tussen Avignon en villeneuve-avignon. Een paar kilometer verwijderd van het pontje dat dagelijks om het kwartier naar Avignon vaart , er staan fietsen die je mag gebruiken , daar hebben wij dan gretig gebruik van gemaakt! Een superaardige host, die gewoon Nederlands spreekt, het ontbijt was iedere morgen goed verzorgd, een koffie zetapparaatje en waterkokertje op de kamer, auto parkeren op het beveiligde eigen terrein . Een suprrgrote koelkast waar je je eigen plekje kan claimen voor bijvoorbeeld een koud wijntje of flesje bier s'avondd op je eigen privèterrasje De host kan op aanvraag een heerlijk diner voor je koken, gewoon aangeven wat je absoluut niet wil eten, dan komt dat goed! Het zwembad is schoon en wordt goed onderhouden, ik kan eigenlijk geen minpunten opnoemen! 😉
