“Rathfinny er en velorganisert og vakker vingård som kunne trengt litt mer passion”
The location was gorgeous, perfect for walking and jogging among the vineyards, but the dining room was oddly windowless and felt quite stuffy.
Breakfast was excellent, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rural setting was surprisingly nice, but the room was tiny—no chair, TV, or wardrobe, and it felt very stuffy, forcing me to keep the fan running all night.
“RSW”
The location on the winery was very good and the staff were excellent, but the room was too small for me; as a single person in a two‑person room I couldn’t fit my larger bag, so I had to stash my carry‑on in the room—something I should have known before booking.
“Stylish but small rooms are particularly small”
The former barn’s stylish design on the wine estate offered great views, yet the rooms were cramped—double beds pressed against one wall made it hard for two people to move, especially when the bathroom door opened and left little floor space. The photo on The Rails shows the bed with access on both sides, but it had been rearranged against the wall. Breakfast was a nice cold buffet, though they might bring back the excellent hot options that a colleague had loved.
“Relaxing and refreshing”
Location, style, atmosphere, quality. Nothing
