Overall, the hotel is pretty and well‑maintained, the staff are attentive and friendly, and they even congratulated me on my birthday at reception – truly caring. However, the restaurant’s portions are very small for Western diners; ordering pasta gives a tiny serving, so you’d need three plates for a single dish, which ends up costing more than in Europe.

The setting is gorgeous, the room is exceptional, and the pool is huge with two basins; reception staff are competent and the lingerie service is appreciated. The meals are good, and a 10/10 could have been given if the dining side were better. The food service needs improvement: too many interns who seem to be having fun instead of working, orders are denied only to be accepted later for one person, the waitress can’t name the dessert of the day and calls a clueless waiter, so we never had dessert. Tables lack cutlery, napkins, salt, and pepper, requiring us to get them ourselves. Suddenly two servers rush in; managers are needed instead of just laughing interns, and the music even at night is annoying.
