The location was perfect for visiting nearby tourist spots like Pontivy, Josselin, the Buddhist centre in Plouray, the Chapelle ste Barbe De Faouêt, and Robert Coudray’s works in Lizio. The pool was especially appreciated during the heatwaves.

The B&B sits 500 yards from the Nantes‑Brest canal, which was great for us cyclists. Bike storage is available on the property. Christophe and Pascale are very charming and friendly hosts who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and give tips on what to do and where to go. A table d’hote is offered if guests request it. The property is a restored and renovated old Breton farmhouse with a lot of character. We stayed in the larger room, effectively a small apartment, with a large recently renovated bathroom and a separate walk‑in shower. It also has its own terrace. The pool area is nice for relaxing with a good‑sized pool. It is a rural and quiet location, so it’s great for switching off. The pretty historic town of Josselin is only a 15‑min drive away, and it’s also a good spot for exploring other parts of Brittany, such as Carnac and Concarneau on the south coast. No complaints.
