“Base camp for motorcycle tour of the dales.”

The room was very comfortable. It's a cracking little village pub with excellent friendly staff. Fantastic traditional breakfast. A good selection of beers, including alcohol free beers. The shared bathroom and toilet, but had no issue's, with how clean it was left by fellow guests. The creaky floorboards at night, did wake me up with other guests moving about, but it is an old building

“Functional for our one night stay whilst visiting family. Stunning area.”

The Sun Inn is a very old public house, the place is traditional, but very tired and dated but that does add to its charm. Due to current changes they do not serve food in the pub, but they do serve breakfast to their overnight guests. Their full English was exceptional. The room was very basic, and exceptionally warm, I was unable to turn the radiator down - better than being cold I guess. The lamps didn't work particularly well and the mattress was very old

Friendly staff, good breakfast. Didn't do evening meal, but made sure I was aware well in advance and suggested nearby pub for food

“Day 3 of the Three Peaks”

A great pub with good draught beers and friendly staff. We were there on a Wednesday which was quiz night and was great fun. Good luck with the community buy out!. Some fruit and yoghurt would be nice as a breakfast option

“Room with character and decent breakfast on the Dales Way”

The location worked well for us as we were walking the Dales Way. We knew to expect a shared bathroom because the hosts made that clear when confirming the booking, and everything matched expectations. Breakfast was good. We did notice some mould in the bathroom and no shower gel or toiletries were provided at all.
