The location was great for us, halfway to Mackinac Island. The place was super clean, communication was excellent, and the rooms were comfortable.

“Nicely renovated motel with easy access to the highway.”

They didn’t give us a text code to access our room, which was a clear oversight since the site stated that no one would be on site. The property’s recorded message said a code would be provided by the booking company, but we had to call after dealing with an AI chatbot to sort it out.

The room was spotless—cleaner than most places I've stayed in recent years, even the bathroom corners were immaculate. Checking in was a breeze; I was skeptical about the all‑digital system, but it worked flawlessly. The décor felt trendy yet cozy, fitting our needs for sleep and breakfast. Breakfast surprised us with its variety, and the fresh coffee outshone the Keurig in the room. We didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the backyard and fire pit, but we’d love to return. The only downside was the strong scent of cleaning products, likely from a Swiffer wet mop, which was a bit overpowering.
