“Great location but room needs renovation.”

The hotel sits in a great spot and has a pretty cool bar and an open area with pool tables. The staff were nice, but the rooms could be better. I rented a scooter that worked great and overall I had a really good time in Bohol. I stayed in the lower‑price rooms and they definitely need some renovations; with a few simple fixes they could be more comfortable. Also, insects were a regular problem, so make sure that’s okay with you before booking.

“The location is excellent”

The spot is great—just a short walk to the beach, a pharmacy, and a bunch of restaurants, so you can grab anything you need without hassle. But the room left a lot to be desired: a strong moldy odor hit us right away, the curtains were stained and looked dirty, and there were no proper hangers or hooks in the bathroom to dry wet clothes, which was annoying. We even spotted black ants in the bathroom, which was unsettling. Security was a nightmare: at about 3:00 a.m., an intoxicated guest was loudly banging on the door of the room next to ours, and we had to call reception to report it. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, but the overall maintenance and security feel like they need serious improvement.

The staff were friendly. The room was pricey or something, not sure why, maybe because of the war in Iran.
