“Lovley hotel”
The place was nice and quiet for the weekend, yet the drinks at the bar were pricey.

The staff were fantastic, but the room felt old and had a bad smell.

We stayed because we were at a wedding at the same venue, so the location worked for us; the staff were great and the room was spacious with a large accessible shower, but the bar service was slow, the rooms were very outdated, we booked a double but got two single beds jammed together, there were no sockets near the bed for my phone alarm and the lamps were tied to the main light switch so I could only turn all lights on or off.

The staff were excellent, but the hotel itself was tired and shabby, with rooms and communal areas that were neglected and in need of refurbishment.

The location suited me and I used the car charging facility, though it only delivered 10 kw per hour instead of the advertised 22, so I had to wait twice as long for enough charge for my next trip; the doors rattled loudly all night, and breakfast was lukewarm and bland.
