The house matches the photos exactly. The host was willing to let me check in early. The apartment is a 10‑minute walk from Napoli station, convenient for train arrivals. It sits in a quiet area and you can walk to the center. I liked that it’s on the 2nd floor, there’s an elevator, so you can ventilate the place.

The apartment is in a multi‑storey, elevator building with a porter. When we arrived, Francesco was already waiting, showed us the apartment, and kindly recommended a breakfast spot. The apartment was very clean and the bathroom was spacious. The cathedral is quite close, so the location is good. We received chilled water upon arrival. The bathroom had a few toiletries, a shower head, a hair dryer, and a bidet. It wasn’t a two‑bedroom apartment. One room had a proper French‑style bed, but the other was a pull‑out sofa that was uncomfortable and placed right next to the front door. There’s also a sofa in the kitchen. The kitchen lacks cooking facilities, plates, a sponge, and a kitchen towel. There were a few utensils, plastic cups, and a napkin. The biggest issue was the shower: the shower head didn’t work properly, only hot or cold water came out. Even after we reported it, we had to buy a new head. There’s no heating, only air conditioning, which works via Wi‑Fi and a remote. Every evening we had to ask to turn it on.
