This gem sits right in the heart of Comayagua's Casco Antiguo, smack in the middle of "restaurant row." The entire hotel is colonial style, packed with antiquities. Entering through the left lobby door feels like stepping into a two‑hundred‑year‑old colonial vestible; the right door leads straight into a beautiful old‑style saloon bar with a wooden bar and tables. The central courtyard is gorgeous, and the rooms are just as lovely. We stayed in a King Suite with a balcony overlooking the courtyard, featuring a very nice bed, AC, and bathroom. Hallways are lined with chairs, benches, and more antiquities. The staff is unbelievably friendly, almost as if you’re family, and they go out of their way to keep you comfortable. Breakfast is nicely served in the courtyard, prepared to your liking. The food is divine—Manos Uruguayas and La Pizzeria are must‑tries. The Cathedral is a 5‑minute walk, Iglesia La Merced a 2‑minute walk, and the Museo Antropológico is nearby; other museums are just a few minutes away. If you prefer to stay put, you can sit in one of the beautiful plazas and enjoy life. The hotel also arranges friendly transportation to the airport. There is nothing to dislike!

The hotel has a lot of charm and sits in a strategic part of town, close to the historic center and the dining area. The staff were very kind and kept checking in to make sure our stay was comfortable. Absolutely a great place to explore the city, only 15 minutes from the airport.
