The staff were friendly to both guests and dogs, and the fenced dog run was spacious. The location was perfect for exploring the area. We weren’t offered breakfast, so I’m unsure if it’s included. The beds felt a bit firm, and everyone has different preferences.

The rooms were laid out really efficiently and the whole place was spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed—tea, sugar, kettle, stove and fridge. The only downside was that the hotel sits right next to a highway, so you get a moderate amount of traffic noise.

Spotless rooms, a private bathroom and a comfy bed made the stay pleasant, and the location and price were both solid. The only gripe was that you could hear a fair bit of noise coming from the hallway.

Our little room was compact yet clean and smelled nice, with its own bathroom, wardrobe and TV. The shared kitchen had all the basics for heating or cooking, and the restaurant downstairs served tasty food and great beer, which we really enjoyed. The only drawback was the pub right by the road—occasional traffic noise meant we had to shut the windows to get a decent night's sleep.
