The breakfast hit all the marks and had everything we needed, and the location was spot on, within walking distance of the main street and still quiet. I did get a bit picky about the new batteries in the TV remote and wished the coffee could be stronger.

Near shops and restaurants, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good. I was greeted with chocolates and fruit on the table. However, the kitchen gear like the fry pans was outdated and needed replacement, utensils were mismatched, plates weren't washed, there weren't enough power outlets, and no safety tags on electrical appliances such as the electric fry pan. The main rug also needed an update.

The breakfast was a real treat – plenty of fresh options that made mornings a highlight. The cottage itself is cozy, with a charming loft and a warm vibe, plus a spot‑on location. On the downside, the place could use a little sprucing up; a few repairs were needed and the toiletries were missing. The cleaning also felt a touch rushed.

This spot is our go‑to in the Barossa. The breakfast spread is insane – cereals, fruit, yoghurt, real butter, bacon, eggs, fresh milk, coffee, a ton of teas…everything you could want. The rooms are clean, comfy, and the garden is lovely, yet it’s only a short walk to Main Street for cafés, pubs, and shops. We’re already planning our next visit.
