Close to the airport, the staff were friendly, and the price was good. If it’s your first time, you might feel lost about where to go. Look for the whiteboard in English; if it says “second floor,” open the door marked on the whiteboard and you’ll be in the right room.

Being close to the airport made the accommodation perfect for us; getting into the city takes a bit more time. The place is a traditional lodging that offers everything needed—water kettle, microwave, hair dryer. The bathroom was spacious. The owner was very friendly, spoke English, and had many helpful tips about the area. We felt very comfortable and would recommend the place anytime. The bathroom with the toilet was a bit tight for us.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the host runs the place with care. The owner speaks English but struggles with Japanese; the host is polite and very nice, overall a good experience. On that day we stayed on the second floor, but the stairs were shaky, and our two 28‑inch suitcases couldn’t be moved up, so we had to switch to the first floor because my daughter was afraid of the stairs. There were no convenience stores nearby, but we found food at Wang Jiang and Sukiya, and a nearby soba shop was also tasty.

The location is super convenient when you’re arriving from Kansai Airport, perfect for our first nights in Japan—off‑the‑beaten‑path yet reassuring. The air‑co was a lifesaver in the summer, and the cicadas’ chorus at dawn was oddly pleasant. Bonus: they can speak both French and English.
