The location is great, close to the center but still quiet. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Breakfasts are tasty and vary each day. They helped me arrange taxis for trips and to rent a scooter. Nothing to complain about.

We loved our stay, it was a joy to have breakfast overlooking the sea, it was varied and very good. The hosts are lovely and attentive. The pool is perfect, ideal for sunbathing. One of the best accommodations in Sri Lanka.

The owners are very welcoming – we felt very comfortable and were well taken care of. The pool is exceptional; it may not look very deep but it has enough depth and length. The room was kept neat and clean, all facilities were accessible such as a kettle, fridge, AC, etc. No complaints, just feedback – if the owners paid a little more attention to the interior and aesthetics, the property would increase in value, but given the price this is not something one should expect.

The accommodation is fine; the highlight is the pool and it was clean. The bed is comfortable and the air conditioning works well. Communication with the owner is really bad. From the start they never cared to communicate. Breakfast is extremely confusing and they claim the place is cheap, so they give you bread with jam and butter. We managed to communicate well, but on the last day they did whatever they wanted with breakfast. I would not return. It was the worst communication I’ve had in all of Sri Lanka. Also the rooms are extremely small despite having booked a deluxe that says 33 m². I’m being generous with the rating because the place had good things. The main beach is about a 20‑minute walk away.

The place, the pool, breakfast and staff make this guesthouse the highlight of Mirissa. I left after 3 nights and ended up adding 2 more because the area deserves time and this guesthouse was ideal for my stay. Mosquitoes were overwhelming, so for people coming, bring mosquito repellent. What really bothered me were the cockroaches in the room! Those were unbearable moments, so I ask the owners to make an effort on that, especially for ground‑floor rooms!
