“Not so special”
The room smelled like natural wood, and both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious; the staff were incredibly friendly. The wellness area was also very comfortable and relaxing. Unfortunately, there was one disappointing aspect of our stay that I’d like to point out. We booked our stay to celebrate our honeymoon, and even though we had emailed the hotel about it in advance, no one from reception, housekeeping, or the restaurant congratulated us. My wife’s wedding dress and flowers were also clearly visible in our room. I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant, but in a hotel of this quality, a small personal touch would have been appreciated. Even a simple handwritten note left after housekeeping would have made us feel recognised and made our honeymoon stay even more memorable. It’s often the little details that make a stay truly special, and I believe this is an area where the hotel could improve.
