The only good thing about this “homestay” is its location near the main tourist beach where Da Nang holds a yearly festival, and there are many worldwide eateries, mostly Vietnamese but cheaper ones are available. The cash‑only policy means you can’t get a refund or cancel, and the owner keeps the money even if you cancel within a few days because she has special rules that are only shown in your room, not online. When I booked, the page didn’t mention that my room would have no windows, yet it included pictures of windowed rooms. The room was not clean, especially the bed, which had stains the owner blamed on previous guests and claimed were “un‑cleanable”; there were also many hairs and dust on the bed. When I asked, she started giving excuses instead of admitting the rooms need cleaning. The sink drains slowly, the bathroom design is poor, the shower drain is clogged and drains extremely slowly, causing the bathroom to fill with water after 5‑10 minutes. The kitchen was always full of dirty dishes, pans, and dirty washcloths with bristles, so there was nothing usable unless you want to clean all that stuff just to cook one meal.
