“Adequate to the price”
The area was beautiful, full of vegetation that made the cabins and pool look lovely. The spa offered a list of low‑priced treatments, though we didn’t have time to try them. The location was central enough that we could rent a bike or walk to the main attractions. Breakfast was menu‑based: you pick one main plate and get fruit and a drink—one of us liked the food, the other didn’t. We had a problem on the first night with the AC: a power outage turned it off and the room heated up, so we couldn’t sleep all night. Even after power returned and we turned the AC back on, it stayed sweltering hot until morning; we texted the provided WhatsApp number for reception to call it in (during the proper schedule) and didn’t get a reply until the next morning. They then checked the unit and the AC worked perfectly. The bathroom is a bit old and has openings to the exterior, letting mosquitoes in, though the room has a mosquito net and device. There’s no isolation from outside temperature, sound (they provide earplugs), or smell—smoke/tobacco is constant, probably from neighbors or the nearby road.
