The hotel is right next to a small night market that sells snacks in the evenings. The first night the door lock wouldn’t latch, and the staff said they couldn’t move us because the same‑price category was full, refusing a room change without extra charge; they didn’t even check each room’s lock beforehand. Despite being a non‑smoking room, the whole floor reeked of smoke, and the bathroom fan was off, so the next morning the bathroom smelled so badly I almost choked; my own towel was soaked with smoke and I threw it away. The water pressure on this floor was terrible, making it almost impossible to get warm water – it was either scalding hot or ice‑cold, with maybe a 1 % chance of a comfortable temperature. Finally, the staff were stretched thin, so anyone who went to the front desk often had to wait a while.
