Surprises started with a German call in the afternoon asking when I could arrive during my motorcycle trip. The online photos were promising, but the reality surpassed them—truly overwhelming, very good! If I love romance, this is the place. I’d book it again.

The welcome was excellent, the lady was very helpful and kind. The location is quiet, a few minutes from Vallon Pont d’Arc and the Chauvet caves (25 minutes). Breakfast was good. There is an outdoor shared kitchen with microwave and fridge, plus a barbecue and an above‑ground pool. Parking is reserved, attached to the property but outside. The room is special and beautifully detailed, but the open‑air bathroom inside surprised us. We Italians can live without a bidet for a while, but the unclosed, ventilated WC still takes some getting used to.

It didn’t match the description. The bathroom in the room had no door, the sink had no partition, and the shower opened into the room—no privacy at all. There was no patio and the room was very dark, impossible to live without light.
