“Mooie omgeving, prachtig park veel keus aan in welness ( sauna s massages, gaar geen kuuroord meerss”
The spa pool is gone because of new European hygiene rules, so there’s no mineral spring anymore; the new pools use chlorine, which is bad for the skin, and salt, which isn’t harmful but lacks the mineral benefits. Also, the eco‑friendly blankets made of natural materials like wool or bamboo are a plus.
“Fenomenale opgietingen in de kelosauna”
The staff are incredibly friendly! For years, the massages have been the best, and the sauna infusions are phenomenal. The only downside is the price: it keeps creeping up unnoticed at checkout with your wristband, ending up higher than you’d expect.
“not very friendly staff”
The balcony and mini‑bar were nice, but the room had no air‑conditioning and the outside smelled like an animal farm; when I asked for an empty plate at the restaurant, they said it cost 2 €, and the place was close to a high‑street and very noisy.
“Sehr schön mit Therme, aber....”
The spa itself is really lovely and the hotel beds feel wonderfully soft. The breakfast was the same for four consecutive days – tasty but identical each time. From Tuesday to Thursday the whole thermal area required a textile fee, yet there was no sign pointing that out. The property isn’t adult‑only despite what the description suggested. You also can’t bring your bath bag into the spa; everything has to be squeezed into a tiny mesh sack. There was no air‑conditioning or fan, so when temperatures rose above 30 °C during the day I could barely sleep at night, a detail that wasn’t mentioned in the listing.
The breakfast was good.
