The setting in the charming village was great, and the welcome was warm. The shower was nice and the kitchen was handy with everything needed. The village restaurant was very good, especially the La Prestige du Dolloir pizza and brie-flette. My room was on the ground floor, so I heard some echo and noise from the kitchen and lounge. In the evening there was still late traffic on the road, cars loading and unloading, and people sipping drinks on the terrace. That ground‑floor room was the only drawback.

The room was in a very quiet environment. The cottage is a very recent renovation of fine quality. The bedding was very comfortable and the shower was spacious for a small room. There is shared kitchen access and a nice shared dining area that also serves as a TV lounge. Parking is easy, a convenience store, bakery, and a small restaurant are all within less than 3 minutes on foot. The hosts were very welcoming. The room was a little small and lacked a “desk” area, but the beautiful common space made up for it. The bedside lamp is nice, but it can light up in the middle of the night because the contactless button is positioned that way. The Wi‑Fi could be better.
