“Loved the place, could use double glazing!”
The rooms were spacious and cozy, and the staff were friendly, but our front‑facing room was noisy from traffic most of the time.

It was extremely well though out. Tra, coffee, sweeteners , oat milk sachets, biscuits, sparkling and still waters, new hairdryer (which I bought when home as it was so good). Everything was new, so we got the best of it. It looked a little old-fashioned and dark, but that's how a lot of people have their homes here we noticed! Check-in was a bit slow as we had to wait in the bar. A new entrance and self check in are being done. Even the builders were considerate when we checked out! The brand new shower and towels were great. Parking was easy although the hitel.is on a busy road and sometimes you got the traffic noise. The smart TV was excellent too. I hope the heating is good in the winter because it was a little cold when we arrived, but rads needed bleeding possibly. I would rather have been in Hebden Bridge Centre, but not possible. I hope guests respect the rooms as they are as they really are great at the moment!. The road noise and the pub itself wasn't one I'd have used

The staff at the hotel were excellent . We were taken to our room by a young female staff member, cannot recall her name who was so nice and helpful. She served us with the other bar staff with our meals both nights and again was really helpful. The other bar staff were also very friendly. As we were informed before our stay that work was taking place in the hotel when we arrived in our room we presumed the room had just been refurbished as it looked perfect. We thought we were probably the first person's to stay in the room since refurbishment. We got chatting to 2 ladys cleaning the rooms to find out this was not the case and had been refurbished a couple of years ago. Absolutely spotless . Well done to Jo and Andrea. The beds were comfy.I slept like a log. The only negative is the front rooms can be very noisy with the traffic which is not the hotels fault but it didn't affect my sleep. We were shown a back room which are much quieter. Very easy bus into Hebden bridge takes approx 5 minutes and bus stop outside the hotel.Very frequent buses. Overall we had a lovely stay and if visiting the area again I would definitely stay and fully recommend. Thanks to all the staff
