“We were travelling around Malta and Gozo and this was our relaxing time, absolutely the right spot.”

The building’s design, the sitting room with its gorgeous blue‑and‑white upholstery, and the sizable stone fireplace were all charming, even though we didn’t linger there much. Spending four days at the hotel felt just right, but the dinner portions were huge and the ground pepper was a bit excessive—though large servings are typical in Malta.

“Real highlight of our stay were days spent in Kantra Lido”

The trullo house we stayed in was truly spacious and pleasant. The area was quiet, letting us sleep soundly, and even the late‑night fireworks from the island’s festivities didn’t disturb us. The real highlight, however, was the time we spent at Kantra Lido, where the crystal‑clear sea, stunning view, and fresh fish at the seaside restaurant were unforgettable. I’d tell anyone staying in Ta Cenc to skip the pool and head to Katra; you won’t be disappointed, though you’ll have to go down and then up the stairs to reach the sea. The bathroom needs a makeover—remove the useless jacuzzi and replace it with a proper shower stall that has a good shower system.

“Quiet location giving a good nights sleep.”

The rooms were spacious and clean, the pools were pleasant, and the place was quiet. The furnishings felt tired and could use an update, and the food and wine were disappointing.

“loved it!”

Everyone on the staff was lovely and helpful. For a five‑star hotel, the place feels a bit dated and tired‑looking. The rooms are fine but a little old‑fashioned. Once you get used to that, the hotel is worth the money—it just needs a bit of updating.
