“Attentive service in the heart of the Medina”
We stayed at Dar Assiya and the service from staff Abdel, Mohammed, and Mouad was spot-on, making the property truly memorable, while owner Laurent kept us in the loop during booking; everyone was friendly and accommodating, and the evening meal—especially the beef tagine—was delicious, plus they went out of their way to cook an onion‑free dinner for my husband. The spot is great, just a block from Souk Semmarine and next to the excellent Le Slimana restaurant, so I highly recommend it. For future tweaks, a place to hang wet clothes in the bathroom would help, a few taller tables by the pool would improve the dining experience, and a more connected drinks service on the roof terrace would be nice.
