“Privates Onsen im Wald”
The architecture of the ryokan itself is an experience: modern and traditional at once, stylishly furnished and beautifully integrated into nature. Our little “block hut” had its own outdoor bath right in the forest, which was simply amazing! Sitting in the warm water under the full moon surrounded by trees was unforgettable. The food was very good and nicely presented. The staff were consistently friendly and very helpful, making us feel completely cared for. The only downside was the nearby road, which is loud both during the day and all night, slightly dampening the overall impression.
