The Mirage Resort & SPA

Back for a second time, and the staff still stole the show! I don’t usually revisit the same hotel, but after loving my first stay at The Mirage Resort & Spa, I came back. Ali, Adnan, and Muhammad—just to name a few—were fantastic: super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely lovely, going out of their way to make the holiday special. That’s why I want to return. The food was a bit hit‑and‑miss this time, with some dishes lovely and others disappointing, and the cocktails were about the same as last year—drinkable but could improve. The real highlight was the accommodation: two bungalows with a shared pool, giving us our own little pool area that made the stay feel extra special. Overall, another lovely holiday at The Mirage. Food consistency and cocktail quality could use attention, but the wonderful staff and the bungalow setup more than made up for it. Would I come back a third time? I don’t usually even return for a second, so never say never! 😊 Cocktails need improving.

I really appreciated the availability of the two reception managers, Mme Chadlia and Mr Adel; the room was very clean and spacious with a pool view, and the food was varied and good.

The staff were very pleasant and available when needed, but the air conditioning in the room didn’t work. The food was very repetitive and lacked flavor. For two days there was no housekeeping visit to the room, so the shower towels weren’t changed.

The location is close to Hammamet center, there are many pool options, and we’re right by the sea. Breakfast is adequate. For lunch and dinner we couldn’t find anything Turkish‑style besides pasta and pizza that suited our taste; desserts were enough, but the main dishes were heavy, aromatic, and unappealing visually. We couldn’t eat anything other than pasta and pizza. The staff were very slow; at check‑in they didn’t even escort us from the lobby to our room. Tables weren’t cleaned regularly during meal times. When we found a dirty and empty table, we couldn’t find a clean one after returning from eating. When we asked staff to clean, we waited minutes; service was incredibly slow and weak. Alcohol quality was low, but the pool and surroundings were very clean. The events were satisfactory.
