“We have wonderful memories of sharing a few days with such we”

It was a charming old building full of art, with lovely family members and pets. Novello was a fantastic host and his sister Francesca, the chef, cooked delicious meals and taught us how to make tagliatelle ragu. We especially enjoyed evening aperitifs in the garden with tasty homemade appetizers. Our room was bright and airy, featuring a modern bathroom and a walk‑in shower. The mattress, however, was not very comfortable.

The old house has a lot of charm with its nooks, terraces, and garden, and the family living on site gives a warm welcome. The dining table offers regional specialties. Everything feels charming, though a little outdated.

“Patīkama uzturēšanās vēsturiskā villā.”

Staying in this historic villa felt like arriving in a village on one side, and on the other it was private enough to enjoy prosecco in the garden before dinner; the rooms were richly decorated with antique furniture and décor, and our room “Mina” was small but had everything needed. The staff were very responsive and helpful, handing us glasses and a corkscrew. Breakfast varied each day and was very good. The villa’s restaurant offered a chance to dine in a cozy setting with other guests. The garden was spacious, with a kids’ area and a walking path to the river. We stayed at the end of September and were not told that the pool had been closed since 15 September.

“Séjour dans un cadre enchanteur”

We loved the charm of this large old villa filled with artworks and family memories amid a beautiful garden; the hosts and staff were kind, and the food quality was excellent.
