The resort was gorgeous and everything ran like clockwork, with a free golf‑cart shuttle taking us up and down the hill to the street. Service levels were off the charts, the grounds were beautifully landscaped and the spa facilities were spot‑on, and it was a breeze to hop in a Grab for a 10‑minute ride into BAC Ninh city, which felt lively yet non‑touristy with plenty of eateries and shops. Senna’s service was so intense it almost became a nuisance, so you either love it or have to keep it in mind. The downside was that early July was very quiet, so there weren’t many activities and the breakfast buffet dropped in quality on the second day, while the on‑site restaurants, especially the western one, were quite pricey.

Our time at Senna Resort was wonderful, thanks to the staff’s incredibly friendly and welcoming manner that made us feel at home right away, the delicious food, and the superb, relaxing massage and private fitness session. The resort’s beautiful natural surroundings added a special touch to the experience. On the flip side, the resort felt a bit quiet with few entertainment options, some areas—like several windows—were noticeably dirty, and the bedroom air‑conditioning blew directly onto the bed, making the night chilly; turning it off wasn’t feasible because of the heat, so adjusting the airflow direction would improve comfort.

The spa area (pool, sauna) is great, staff friendly. I stayed 2 nights in different rooms – in both rooms the hot water ran out after about 5 minutes of showering. The first night breakfast was more à la carte because the hotel seemed almost empty; the second night there was a lavish buffet as the hotel was fully booked. I had lunch on my second day, which I would not recommend – it took more than 45 minutes for my dish to be served and was very overpriced.
