The location works well, but finding parking is difficult, especially for larger vehicles.

The room was comfortable and had Japanese-style toilets, but the reception felt a bit unfriendly—maybe a language barrier—and the Wi‑Fi in my room was quite unreliable.

The staff were smart people, and even though the room was small it felt spacious; having a washlet in the toilet was a plus. I wish the water outage had been notified beforehand, though this is different from Japan.

The rooms are minimal but well made, some face the temple and offer a stunning view at night; the neighborhood used to be notorious, but now it’s a slice of Taipei. Service is almost nonexistent, with staff sometimes kind and sometimes not very engaged, and the rooms are small.

The staff were super helpful, the bed was comfy, and I could look right over Longshan Temple from my window.
