“Very agréable séjour et super emplacement pour visiter le vieux Lyon.”
The apartment was very well renovated. The housekeeper is really easy to work with. The bathroom is exceptional with a large bathtub and shower. The 180 cm wide bed is rare in France and truly appreciated. The vintage décor is pleasant and real parquet is present – FORMIDABLE. The apartment door is too hard to open. The elevator doors close too quickly and we don’t have time to get in together. In the living room, a jackhammer noise is annoying when the AC runs. It’s a shame the windows haven’t been cleaned in months.
“Au top!”
It was perfect.
“Wat een mooi appartement op een mooie locatie.”
The spot, retro décor, and all the luxury you could want are positives. The sink is a bit high‑set, which is a negative.
The place is a whole flat, massive, well equipped and clean, with air‑conditioning that works perfectly and a shower that’s very powerful and easy to use. The downside is the usual French building issue: timer lights in the stairs and entrance turn off too quickly, which feels dangerous, and the electricity isn’t that expensive.
The location is great, close to restaurants, bars and sights. The problem is the apartment is very noisy because the soundproofing is poor.
