“Nice hotel, poor service”

Nice hotel. Contradictory in room information and poor service from the front of house staff and concierge. The in room information lists a restaurant on site open till 11pm. When I went down to ask about it just after 9pm I was informed it was already closed. I needed help organising transport to the airport, and asked for help the evening before. This was important because due to the local festivities the road outside the hotel was closed and it wasn’t clear how to arrange a pick up by Grab or taxi. I used this hotel because they explicitly advertise an airport transport service. The hotel staff just said their car service was unavailable and they could not help. When I asked them if there was anything they do to help or advise, they simply repeated that their car service was unavailable. Pretty poor. They could have suggested booking Grab and getting it to come to an alternative address and helping me find it with my luggage, but they just outright refused to help. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel, or the brand, again

The property is pure luxury—from the rooms, the view, spa, pool, restaurants, exceptional breakfast, to the super friendly and attentive staff. Everything was fabulous.

“Excellent location, welcoming staff”

The place sits right south of Hoan Kiem lake and the room was roomy. They catered to my vegan diet and the staff were very helpful. The coffee shop across the street is charming, and you can buy items there and have them charged to your room. The only downside is that the dining area is small, so you must decide the next day what breakfast you want and when you want it so the kitchen can prepare it in advance; it’s not a big deal, but you do have to plan ahead.

The staff were extremely helpful and the property was spotless. The only issue was that one of the rooms was an internal one where you could hear the kitchen machinery.
