How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The facilities were nice and the boat trip was fun because it let you float down the river; stargazing was possible at night and the location is chill if you drive in for a timeout. The bathroom ceiling was damaged, there’s confusion about the uphill path that’s supposedly for shuttles only (a sign would help), and while the boat trip is great, be ready to walk barefoot over river stones to re‑enter.

The location on the edge of the river with our room floating on the river. Beautifully scenic. Two things. 1. Water drainage from the shower. I don’t know what the designers of the bathroom were thinking with the bathroom design, but even when you use the shower using reduced water flow the water flows out of the shower up to the bathroom door, then across to the vanity and then down to a small drain behind the toilet. As a result of this if you want to use the vanity or the toilet even an hour or two after the shower is used you are standing in a small amount of water. 2. Whoever cooks the omelettes in the kitchen needs further training. Omelettes are supposed to be cooked right through and not still have liquid / gooey egg in the middle

The place is gorgeous in the woods, the bungalow itself floats, and the food is solid—pure relaxation. The only hiccup: you can’t pay with a credit card.

The Cherlynn Resort looks even more stunning on site than in photos, blending beautifully into the landscape. It feels like a fairy‑tale escape, almost brand‑new and luxurious. The boat trip and river swimming are a must‑do part of the package. I’d recommend it to everyone! 5 stars. The whirlpool was unusable because of water‑level issues, but it would have been a great experience.

The property is brand new and gorgeous. My floating house was set apart from the others, giving it a quiet feel. The staff were polite and friendly, and the layout of the buildings is lovely. The main drawback is the many stairs to reach the floating houses, making luggage a hassle, though the staff kindly carried ours up and down when we checked out. At night, bees were attracted to the lights near the door, which was a bit scary.
