The location is great, and the rooms get cleaned and serviced daily. However, the room was extremely noisy and actually shook every time the underground train ran past, and the fridge made a loud noise too. There wasn’t a proper bathroom—just a cavity with a shower screen inside it. The heater didn’t work, the TV signal kept cutting out, and the doors and other fittings looked old and worn.

The place sits in a solid spot, the only thing that rattles is the metro passing by and the bed is super comfy. Breakfast is a bit plain and sparse, but it covers the basics: toast, waffles, eggs… The water in the room’s bathroom isn’t marked as potable.

The location is excellent and the value for money is good. The room was basic and on the smaller side but had everything needed. The bed was comfortable and there was a mini fridge in the room.

It’s well situated near Paddington and Hyde Park, and the cleanliness standards were very good. The bed felt a bit uncomfortable, and the shower head was blocked; that got fixed but then hot water wasn’t always available.
