“Its a lovely convenient location with comfortable rooms.”

The spot is right near Fremantle’s centre, so walking to bars, hotels, eateries and cafés is a breeze, and Marine Terrace is just a short stroll away. Unfortunately, the owner had the tenant who was already staying in the room I’d booked lease it to extend their stay, so my assigned room and position changed without any warning. I did get a $30 discount to cover the price difference and an apology, which was a small consolation.

The place sits in a great spot for seeing Freo, and the rooms are spacious and clean. It was hard to reach reception or on‑call staff; the phone number shown to in‑house guests never answered.
