The views were amazing and the room was very comfortable and cozy. They went the extra mile to make us comfortable, and the room had everything we needed. The only downside was the aircon making horrible noises at night while you’re sleeping; otherwise, I would change nothing. We were very happy.

The location was good, and the private jacuzzi made for a wonderful relaxing time each evening when we could sit and enjoy that time as a couple. The bed was comfortable, and the little extra space to sit on the couch and read or work on a puzzle was very relaxing. We had planned to be self‑catering but there were very few dishes, no gas tabletop for cooking, and I had to do everything on the braai, including breakfast. We should have had at least a microwave and a basic kitchen set up.

The accommodation was superb, a perfect romantic getaway with a jacuzzi overlooking the dam, and everything from the bedroom to the bathroom to the lounge area was amazing. A fully functional kitchen and self‑catering would be nice, but the listing clearly states it isn’t self‑catering.
