The location is great, and the staff were very friendly, but the rooms could use a fresh coat of paint and maybe new or repaired furniture; otherwise, the great location makes it worth recommending.

The spot is excellent with a view of the Edersee, and the staff were very friendly, yet the photos promised more than what was actually there, we never saw the advertised fireplace room and no one mentioned it on site, and the equipment feels quite worn in places.

The beach house sits nicely right on the Edersee, though the water was almost dry and algae‑infested at the time, the terrace view is usually lovely, breakfast was tasty, generous, and nicely presented, and the owners and staff were very friendly, but the bathroom is tiny and a bit worn, there were no hooks for wet bath towels, and the room lacked luggage storage.

We had a suite that was very spacious, even with a walk‑in wardrobe, breakfast was well prepared, the host and staff were friendly, and because of a car breakdown we arrived later than the usual check‑in time and they waited for us; we also got to use lunch because the chef had to come over for a private party, even though the restaurant was actually closed.
