The location was convenient, just a short walk to pubs, a chemist, and restaurants, and the shower had excellent water pressure. However, we ended up in a corner room and were unsure how to park the angle, so I asked at the office but nobody was there. When I returned, a man was banging on our door, yelling at me to park at an angle. He was quite aggressive, and when I explained there were no signs indicating the parking rule, he growled and walked away. He was the only staff we saw, so I can't judge anyone else. The welcome was not nice, and the bed was very small.

The bed was nice and overall the stay was okay. The lack of a bath mat and hand towel was annoying, and when I turned on the shower, the water ran past the toilet and wash basin. A warning about using too much water would have helped, because I ended up with a wet floor and no shower mat.

The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. The bathroom was minuscule - so tiny! There was nowhere to put the soap in the shower, or anything else for that matter. The gap under the entrance door was huge and let in cold wind. A touch of paint would have helped on the skirting boards and the architrave around the entrance door. There were no hand towels and only a small rack to hang towels so we had to drape them over the chairs. There were no teaspoons to use for tea or coffee and we had to use a knife for stirring

The bed was good, the place was quiet, the hot shower was nice, and the tea and coffee supplies were decent. It also had a couch, which many hotels don’t offer. I’ve stayed here twice already while passing through.
