If you only need a place to crash, it works fine – there’s a bakery opposite, a shared fridge in the hallway and a TV with Netflix and YouTube. The bed creaks loudly with every movement, so keep valuables out of the room because our headphones vanished, the windows don’t seal and you can hear traffic from the street and the bar across the way, there’s no air‑conditioning, and during our four‑night stay no cleaning or towel changes ever happened.

I stayed on the ground floor of a pizzeria, the building was basic but the location was central. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious and clean. There was a secure spot to lock my bike, and the pizza was decent. Breakfast wasn’t offered, but right across the street was a great bakery. No complaints.
