The staff were helpful, polite and willing to assist. The room size was good, breakfast was tasty, and they kept a coffee bottle and cold water available all day. The location is great, right in the center and close to a waterfall. However, the room I stayed in had no sound insulation and there was a lot of external noise at night, cars passing with loud music causing the windows to vibrate, which was quite annoying. The internet was also a negative point, very bad.

I was really looking forward to staying here, but things didn't go so well. The breakfast was great and the room was okay, but the communication was terrible. I'd booked a room two months in advance, but then they told me it was already taken a few days before I arrived. They apologized and offered me a discount, but it was too little, too late - I was already stuck. And to top it off, the internet didn't work at all.

We ended up staying here because we couldn't find anywhere else in São Jorge, so the location wasn't ideal. But it was close to some awesome waterfalls, and the breakfast was really good - the staff in the kitchen were super friendly.
