The location was convenient and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the room was clean yet clearly a smoking room, and the infant crib was actually a bed.

The parking and breakfast were good, but the disabled room had a very low bed with a mattress that had a plastic cover, making the night for my wife and me the worst, unpleasant, and unforgettable; we will not return to this Ibis hotel. The first time we visited, we had a room on the top floor with very comfortable bedding, completely different from what we received in room N•115 for disabled guests. We never requested or booked this type of room, which is also more expensive than a standard room that I had taken a few days earlier at the Ibis style d’Amiens. The minimum correction from the hotel management at Ibis Gare de Bethune would have been to inform us of this change, so we could have kept or cancelled the reservation. For me, this was a tour organized to fill the hotel and I will not hesitate to share on social networks the dishonest practices of this hotel.

“Very good budget choice”

Everything feels modern and spotless, but the room felt a touch cramped, and there was no hairdryer or hand towels.

“Alright for a budget overnight stop.”

The price was fair, and we got what we paid for; the once‑great Camanile chain has declined, but this hotel still offers accommodation that matches the price, with parking and clean sheets. The restaurant is lovely but isn’t really open, which is a shame, and you have to drive or walk a long way for food.
