The location, not far from the sea, was great. The vibe with shared kitchen is perfect for young people and the yoga classes are a bonus.

The staff and volunteers were really sweet, and the garden lovely. Olive 3 has a very homely atmosphere, with a cat, fireplace and many sweet living spaces - and cosy corners. In the dorm I didn't sleep so well because I'm a bit sensitive to sound, but this was minor and the beds were good

The staff was super friendly and the hostel is centrally located. The facilities were very basic, the beds were old and the mattresses hard and worn. Also the room was full of ants, as was the whole house, even the breakfast room – very unpleasant.

The only big plus was that the girls at the reception were incredibly kind and helpful. They really did their best. I stayed at Olive3 but left after one night because the price‑quality didn’t match for me. For an extra €15 per night I was then in a wonderful hotel with soft bedding, a brand‑new private bathroom and a generous breakfast – the contrast was huge. The shared shower at Olive3 was very dirty: hair everywhere, a small cramped shower with a filthy shower curtain. The toilets had no normal door but a kind of sliding curtain, so you basically have no privacy. In my bed there were also hairs when I arrived. After my stay I approached the owner politely to resolve this together, but I never received a response. That might be the biggest problem: there was no single reply or contact possible (not via email and also not via WhatsApp). I would not book this hostel again and would not recommend it to others. There are really many better and nicer places in the village.
