Breakfast was great and the dining room is fantastic. The location next to the Watercolour Museum with views of the cliffs gives a true Bohuslän feel. The staff are kind and available, but a bit inexperienced, and the hotel seems to lack some structure and routines, which showed in the towels, linens, and room functions. We were somewhat pleased that the weather was bad. We stayed on the ground floor with direct access to a terrace, and the restaurant chairs were placed right outside the door.

“Trevligt”

Cozy good food and good wine. The staff were friendly but it took a while to get attention. It was unclear how and where to check in; we ended up standing in the restaurant. We had paid extra for a room with a water view but received one facing the parking lot instead.

“A wonderfully cosy harbour hotel with a lovely team and a truly special waterfront atmosphere.”

The location is fantastic, right by the harbour and water, with a very friendly and welcoming team and cosy rooms full of character. Breakfast was made individually rather than served as a buffet, and it was absolutely delicious. Ground‑floor rooms share the terrace with restaurant guests, which is convenient but can reduce privacy. If possible, we’d choose a first‑floor room with a private balcony next time.
