“Nice hotel in a good location.”
The breakfast was very good, but the room was nice yet lacked air conditioning.
I got a room with windows facing the mail office and the main street. When the windows were open it was noisy; sleeping was impossible. With the windows closed it was hot and hard to breathe—there was no ventilation or conditioning. The room price is very high. I do not recommend it.
“Störende,unpassende Musik”
The wellness area was nice, but I would have given full points if I didn't have to listen to a dispassionate mix of 08/15 pop at breakfast. The pleasant rooms of the old monastery feel disrupted by that. If there’s music, it should be very quiet classical—or just silence.
The lady at reception was very pleasant, but the gentleman was the opposite—his reactions were shocked, abrupt, and unwelcoming. The city water was contaminated upon arrival and dangerous to drink. All the host offered were bottled waters priced at 6,50 € for 750 ml. Scandalous!
“Mehr Abfertigung als Gastfreundschaft”
The old monastery has large rooms that were modernised nicely, but the restaurant only offers mediocre quality – the food tastes bland, sometimes undercooked, and the wine is served only as red and white from an unknown wine region. The reception offered to book a consumption on the room, but it wasn’t possible, and the only waiter with 20 guests seemed clearly overwhelmed.
