It was a lovely place. The food was tasty, visually charming, and of good quality. The rooms were spacious and clean. I enjoyed making my own onsen egg and soaking in the foot bath. The bath itself felt clean and was very pleasant. I appreciated the various thoughtful touches. There were no particular negatives.

The service was excellent; the proprietress and everyone who helped with the meals were kind, and my whole family left happy. I would have preferred a thicker futon and a slightly higher pillow, though personal preference plays a role and other aspects were fine.
