“Terimakasi!!!”

I had a wonderful stay at this property. I especially want to thank the host for his excellent attention and kindness—he was very responsive and communication was always easy and clear. The house was clean and had everything I needed. The kitchen was very practical and equipped, and the ventilation and illumination were great, which made the space very comfortable to live in. It was truly special to stay in a traditional Balinese house, share with the locals, and experience more of their culture. That made the stay even more meaningful. I would definitely come back if I have the opportunity. Highly recommended! 🙏

“Not recommended”

The refrigerator in the shared kitchen was clean. The owner’s response to simple requests, like an extra towel, was angry and filled with bad‑attitude WhatsApp messages. Definitely not friendly, nor did it make me feel welcome, and I felt very uncomfortable staying there. The neighbors across could see me taking a shower through the bathroom window. The owner first denied this, but they eventually put up a shower curtain on the window. There was some mold in the bathroom. The huge amount of garbage and plastic bags dumped in the river and the land along the river made it a horrible sight. The smoke comes from the house below every morning, which made me cough and sneeze daily. It was not incense, unfortunately. The bed linen had a few obvious stains. Bathroom windows did not lock. After asking the owner to fix the locks, it was not fixed, so I felt my belongings were not safe. The peeping noise coming from the electrical box outside my room. I reported this to the owner and was again sent negative comments. They finally fixed the problem after telling me they were sick and had to drive there to wake a member of the household to fix the noise. There was no air conditioner, only a fan that didn’t do much at all as it only went at very low speed. The room felt quite hot, stuffy, and damp. They had a really small wardrobe dehumidifier. That did nothing to control the dampness.

“Muy agradable con excelente procacidad”

The place was clean, quiet, and the room was very comfortable. It was a bit far from the center for me.

The bathroom and patio view were amazing, and the bedding was very comfortable. The neighborhood smells often resembled trash and/or smoke, which was a shame because I would have kept my windows open all the time if it didn’t smell.

“Great homestay”

I really enjoyed my stay at Yobi house. The hosts are kind and welcoming, the area is much quieter, and the rice fields nearby are beautiful. I also appreciated the little kitchen they have. There is a shared balcony in front and back of the room. It was nice to watch the kids get their kites in the air with a traditional technique they used with a long bamboo pole—so good to experience the true culture of the Balinese!
