The staff and owner were friendly, but there was no air‑conditioning, no microwave, no DSTV, and the view was open.

The hotel's proximity to the Modderfontein golf course and airport made it an ideal stopover for me. However, I was a bit disappointed by the uncomfortable mattresses in some of the rooms, which seemed to have springs that poked through.

The hotel's location near the airport was a major plus for me, and I appreciated the friendly staff who were happy to pick me up. The breakfast was also a highlight, and the owners were genuinely kind and welcoming. However, I did find their strong focus on Christianity to be a bit overwhelming, with lengthy discussions and alternative theories that sometimes felt intrusive.
