The place was easy to find straight from Hakata Station and having a 7‑Eleven next door was handy for quick shopping, plus the front desk offered self‑check‑in on two terminals and I didn’t have to wait even though I arrived after 20:00, and the 200‑yen per‑person lodging tax could be paid without cash, but the breakfast board in the lobby looked tasty and I couldn’t figure out how to sign up on site – perhaps it was only for pre‑booked guests.

There was nothing positive to mention. Although the listing said “bathroom,” the room only had a shower; they later moved me to another room, but single rooms may still only have a shower. There was no phone in the room for the front desk, no shoe horn, the humidity was high and a faint mold smell lingered. Even with the lights on the room stayed dim, especially over the table, making it hard to find small items; the bedside table wobbled so much that any drink would tip over, so I stopped using it, and the sink mirror was set too low to see my face. I won’t be returning.

Everything that should be there was present, the location was convenient and there were plenty of sockets, but the bed was noticeably smaller than a standard double and the bathroom was cramped though very clean.

The location was good and the interior was clean. The shower’s water pressure was weak, and I would have liked a bath.
