The hotel sits close to Ximen station, the room was clean and the staff were friendly; they even slipped in instant noodles as a nice touch. I felt I got exactly what I paid for, nothing more.

I stayed on the 2nd floor and the corridor and upstairs noises were a bit distracting.

The only thing I really liked was finding a pack of cookies tucked away in the drawer, which felt thoughtful. What really put me off was the checkout process that felt like a military inspection—you had to go through a check before you could leave, and it left a sour taste.

The location is great as always, on the quieter side of Ximending yet still close to the hotspots. The bed was large with comfortable sheets. The air‑conditioner only goes down to 22 °C, even if you set it to 16 °C you still feel warm; we preferred a colder setting.
