Pretty much everything! The biggest highlight was the hosts, Claire and Alex, and their children. They are genuinely wonderful people with so much character, warmth and passion for what they do. They really are role models for following what you love and putting your heart into it. The house was fantastic for the price: very clean, comfortable and surprisingly private despite being a shared house. I also took a surf lesson with Alex, which was excellent. He is a fantastic teacher and genuinely got me excited about surfing! Our spontaneous barbecue together was also one of the best evenings of our entire two-month road trip. We also loved the little extras, especially the beer tap and Alex’s homemade red wine. The pay-as-you-use concept was incredibly fair and a really nice touch. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything was great
