The location is good, just a step back so it’s quiet. I got stung all over like a whole-body mite; there were more than 70 bites in the parts I could count.

The spot is great. I injured my leg on a chipped wooden door at the entrance.

The staff were very friendly and the room was spacious, with a large fridge, electric kettle, couch, and a drying rack for clothes. They fixed our broken shower fast and even gave us a free day of snorkel gear rental for two people to make up for the shower that wasn’t working in the adjacent room where my dad stayed. The air‑conditioning, ceiling fan, and upright fan were all good. However, the toilet doesn’t flush well with the handle, so we had to fill a bucket to flush. The bottom shelf of the fridge was broken. The coffee table that was pictured in the listing was missing, and there were no mugs with handles for hot drinks. No coffee supplies were provided, and there was no self‑filling station for drinking water, though the staff would fill it for us during business hours. The place definitely feels older and a bit more run‑down than shown in the pictures.

The spot was convenient for snorkeling and restaurants. The shower was unusable from arrival until departure, even after speaking with staff and multiple maintenance visits. We only got either freezing or scalding water, never a comfortable temperature, and had to mix the cold water from the bidet with the hot shower water just to get a semblance of a normal shower. On the last morning the hotel ran out of shower water, so we had to go down to the office to get bottled drinking water to bathe with.

The front desk lady was great and helped us a lot. The first night there was no water to shower, so the front desk girl brought us a bucket of hot water. The bathroom tap was broken and leaked every day, the door lock was faulty and required a lot of effort to lock, and besides the location near the dive shop, everything else was bad – the facilities were very old, the bed was especially uncomfortable, and I wish the whole building could be demolished and rebuilt.
